I am eager to pass the toefl test, but I don't think I have reached that level
.However,I've made considerable progress. It is likely that a year later ,I will take the exam !
so ,I want to make friends with those who have the same wish to take the toefl test

toefl is internet based now.
there are four sections: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
it is much more difficult than ever.
Sad

The oral test will last 15 minutes, containing 6 items. In the first two items, you have 15 seconds to prepare, and then you are supposed to give a 45-second answer. Item 3 and 4 are based on some reading and listening materials. you have 30 seconds to prepare and your answer should be 60-second long. And the last two will focus on your listening comprehension. you have 20 seconds to prepare and one minute to answer. you may also take notes while you are listening. Very Happy
I've planned to take TOEFL this August. I feel a bit upset now coz I'm sure whether I will get along with this new type. I've eventually given up the chance to take the one held this month, which will end the traditional way of this test, for I'm genuinely not good at grammar. Sad
Looking forward to any fresh information from all of you!! Wink

Hi,everybody. Nice to meet you. I'm a student, and I live in Taiwan.
My major is English,so I have to get many credentials. I try my best to study English. I have studied English for eight years. I will have a TOEIC
in September. When I graduate from university, I hope I can go abroad.
I love talk with foreigners. It can practice speaking.
I have heard TOEFL is more difficult than other exams. I Know TOEFL contant 4 part. I'm not good at listening. I try to listen English songs and BBC radio. I want to improve my listening. Do you have any suggestion?
Well... I need your help, please. Thank you very much. Laughing Laughing 49316001
