Hello,

Since I already kindly received help from people here, first of all, let me say thank you for your precious time. What you do is really appreciated.

Now, let me ask you a few questions. I would like to know the following:

1- Can I say that I have five different clothes in my wardrobe? If not, what should I say?

2- Is it possible to say "a piece of clothes" or is it "a piece of clothing"?

3- Also, I once heard "garment" for "clothes"; is that commonly used?

That's all!

Hello, Erik.

Thank you for the kind words.

1. It would sound strange.

2. You can say, "(a) piece(s) of clothing" or "articles" of clothing.

3. "Garment" is very formal and rarely used.
