Hello!! I'm Japanese girl.
I sarch about New Year's Holidays in the world !

In Japan, there are traditional foods.
For example foods prepared for New Year's, rice cake and so on.
And there are many plays.
For example Karuta, let out a kite and so on.
Many of the Japanese visit a shrine on a New Year's Day, and send someone a New Year's card.

What do you do on New Year's Holidays in your country ?

hello im from America
in America how we cellabrate new years is, its just like anormal day but everyone stays up all night untill 12am so we can watch the ball drop (the ball is held in New York City) there is also partys people have so they can cellabrate it with alot of people. Alot of people go to the city and wach the ball drop and other people watch it on t.v. alot of people drink on new years and alot of people make pigs in a blanket (pigs in a blaket is little hot dogs wraped in dow) then once the ball drops people eather party or just go to bed ^_^ lol

Hello, i'm a french girl!


Here in france for New Year' evening on December the 31st, we make a dinner and a party with friends. At midnight, we kiss all person in the party saying "happy new year"and the party finishes early in the morning.

By beginning of new year, we send many new year' s cards.
