Hello Everybody!
What do you think about astral projections? I mean, voyages of your mind outside your body! I have started to practice this some weeks ago, but I have not much progressed in this time. Can anyone give me some advice?

I think your mind is housed inside your skull for a reason. It's just the nature of things. But then again, the power of the imagination is quite large. Just make sure you don't get lost on your journeys! |

I ate peyote. It contains silusibina, dont know how to spell it. Anyway, ever since I have gotten out of my body in several occasions. And believe me, its insane. I have gone mad. You dont know what your other self is doing and it makes you crazy. I quit eating peyote and I continue having those experiences, I call them paranormal, and I can not get rid of them.
In the end, Ive always ended up in a psyquiatric hospital to get to normal, I am bipolar, maniac depresive. Doctors dont know what they talk about, they dont believe my experiences are truth.
But..., to tell you the truth, it is enjoyable.
However, I am not capable of mantaining an steady job, because I get in trance, maniac, or depart from reality. To a world of dreams.

To start with, it is not your mind that goes out of your body. It is your other self. Most of the times to go out of your body, you need to be asleep, before you get in deep sleep. When you are not completely sleep. It is not easy to get out of your body, you need your other self to help you. It draws you out, and most of the times it is to show you something. Once you are out, you see your body in bed, and you feel normal, as if you were in your real body, but you are that other self.
I have also seen my other self in my chromated lamp, there I was able to see him, walking, doing things, with other persons that I have never known.
Meditation will help you get your mind at ease and start your development of that other reality.
If you really want to learn about this, I recomend you read to Carlos Castaneda. He is an antropologist who studied an old Chaman from the Huichol culture. He has a series of at least nine books, I stoped at the fourth, the first one is called "Las enseanzas de Don Juan", The teachings of Don Juan. Or you can also read to Victor Sanchez with the book "Las enseanzas de Don Carlos" The teachings of Don Carlos, refering to Carlos Castaneda. It is a lighter reading. |

Astral travels are a very interesting thing. I know many things, but I don't know to spell them. First of all, remember one thing: you will be completely quiet. Good luck for a exceptional experience! _________________ The truth is out there.. |

According to some Indian meditation teachers, dreams are some sort of astral projections.
But I don't think so. Just close your eyes and imagine whatever you want.
Imagine that your body is floating in front of you and you have an "astral projection". _________________ "I don't know what they will use in World War III. But in World War IV sticks and stones will be used." Albert Einstein
