Most of people think that Maths is one of the most important subjects in a school . I think Maths will help us to solve other problems in a life . Without Maths we can not find out how to solve other problems in Physics , Chemistry etc . At the first time , I think Maths is one of the boring subjects but I tried to find out why there are a lot of people like Maths and I have a lot of friends who are their major Maths and like Maths so much . With the time and a lot of practice about Maths problems so that I think Maths is one of the best subject and I like Maths a lot . Do you have any idea about how to study Maths and why you think Maths is one of the favorite subjects ?
Thanks |

In science
the most essential subjects is math and physics.
we can use math to analyse ,deduce, and synthetise.
And physics can give us datum of facts. physics is a subject that focus on experiments and trials. what you said must on the basis of your experiments and facts.
we can see that ,in some sense ,the spirits of physics is spirits of science. consciences and diligent. |

Hello, friend.
Math is a logical art. Through math eduction, you can learn how to develop theories based on axioms and assumptions. So it provides a deductive and inductive thought process, then that becomes the scientific approach.
Also various math areas are already developed and completed as theories in an immaginary world and not used at all. That's like a philosophy or an art I believe. But some day they are providing good foundations to theoretically explain situation and phenomea. |

My advice is: If you study, don't study maths or physics, but a special lesson like materials. With this, you can find work easier. _________________ If I say "I love you" to someone, then I also have to say "I love inside you everyone else. I love the whole world because of you. Well, my advice is a bit different. If you are planning to major in science, particularly those that involve logical thinking/calculation heavily (ie: computer science, physics...etc), do a second major in math. If you plan to major in physics, though, do a second major in something you can apply physics to (ie: chemistry) or do a combined specialist with physics. Companies love people who have a degree in physics, but they hate people who only have physics degrees.
As for why math is important, well, it's important because it is not only a tool but also an abstraction. For example, look at differential equations. You can solve differential equations to describe oscillatory motions and radioactive decay. However, you can also solve them to describe how the stock market fluctuate. So you tear away all the funny names and concepts and what not, all of a sudden they all stem from the same area in math. Of course, you still need to know what those funny names and concepts mean in order to make sense of the equation, but you have essentially solved the problem with no knowledge whatsoever on the subject. That is the power of math. |

It's true. Maths is a very important subject. It's used in almost all the fields be it physics, chemistry, computers, economics, geology, biology and so on.
If we have a close look around us, we can see maths everywhere. u go to grocery store and transact money using maths. U count ur b'days in nos.
U go sumwhere and u can calculate the probability of ur purpose and so on.
To study maths, get dissolved in it.Apply it in ur daily life _________________ Hakoona Matata |

Fortunately or unfortunately, it's all about Math. Math seems to be related to anything in this world, directly or indirectly. As my friend says, "Math makes the world go 'round".
There no way to escape math, so deal with it. Haha _________________ http://peyups.com |

Maths is not for me. I dont like logical thinking. This is not for me, really. I think people should follow their heart, not logic. |

I partly agree with you, but not totally. When you are talking about relationships or social contacts to other people, your heart should be your guide. But if you are talking about shall we build a new wind farm, then you should science (i.e. maths, physics and other sciences) decide if this decision is good or not. Not everything can be deducted by logic, but in important matters like politics, I think facts should dominate the decisionmaking, not your feelings which are usually based on fables. |

I don't think math is sicence. In my opinion, math is art in logical way.
Physics, chemistry, biology, etc. can be classified in sicence, but not math. |
