Hi! I'm Japanese girl. Du know urban legends? it is rumor which is spread as if they are really true stroy. But acutually we all do not know whether they are true or false. there are a lot of urban legends in japan. For exaple, " a certain hamburger shop use a earthworm into their hamburger instead of beaf." this is a urban legend which spread when I!m in elementary school. In your country what rumor do you have? |

Yosshi,
In my country i.e. India, many are vegetarians. The most famous urban legend is that many fastfood joints use chicken fat for frying. _________________ "I don't know what they will use in World War III. But in World War IV sticks and stones will be used." Albert Einstein

yea that is a urban ledgen, but many years ago it would have been true. for health resons, many fast food places have changed to cooking in vegetable oil. Some fast food places use Hydrogenated vegetable oil (it means to add Hydrogen to oil), that type of oil is not good for you. _________________ Visit my Blog on a Chinese web site. The most well-known urban legend in Moscow concerns about the rumor that there is the whole system of secret undeground passages and dungeons under the Moscow streets. In fact, it's partly true. |
