I'm amazed at what science can do these days, and I think we are not ready for it.
Our intellectual minds are much more advanced than our wise or insightful minds, and that's not good. (We are smart enough to CREATE nuclear weapons, but not smart enough to realize that we shouldn't).
It's the same thing with artificial intelligence, cloning, and other new technology...

We have to be careful.

Nuclear weapon is dangerous and bad.
Million and millions to be spend every year for maintenance those weapons and keep faculties in safe manner ...those weapons are used for power balance..
But Nuclear technology is useful for all civil proposes (electricity m midecin, etc,,,) ,I think some day may be not very far each village on the earth should has its own small Nuclear tech facility for electricity , transport (car, airplane , train,..) Churching.
Oil and other available energy producing materials some day will disappear.

Although I know that it is stupid that states like Iraq or North Korea urge to have nuclear weapons I can understand that they want to be able to protect themselves against their "enemies" because they feel threatened by the West, especially after Bush once said they belonged to the "rogue nations" together with Syria.

As a matter of fact, I regret, do nuclear weapons exist and I hope they will never be used actively but just as a sign of power and a device of political pressure.

It's a nice thought, but the reason they hold that political power is because they CAN be used...
