Probably the picture of the German soldier holding up the skull was taken by one of his comrades, who decided to make a few bucks by selling it to the press, or it was encouraged by a press photographer, who cynically decided to try to embarass the German army.
Either way why is this so outrageous? The soldier was not responsible for the death of the owner of the skull, and we can only speculate that it might have been that of a muslim.
We see scientists holding up the skulls of long dead Pharoahs and digging up the bones of people all the time, nobody is outraged.
It's all a storm in a teacup by some jerk in the press trying to sell a newspaper.

HOW TRIVIAL !!!!!!!

I hope one day you find out that you are really the owner of your own skull asterix. would you say the same thing if some Iraqi militants were playing with the skull of an American soldier in Bagdhad or some Palistinians were playing with an Israli's skull. How trivial and dirty is your opinion.

We've already seen Muslims dragging dead Americans through the streets.
It is only done to annoy the living. The dead are already past caring.
