I'm french and i start knowing and loving japanimations and mangas. Actually, i'm not very good at it, so maybe I'll answer you something you didn't ask for..

I love Hayao Miyazaki, and Cat's Eye. Mangas are very popular in France (I'm french..), and when I was young, a lot of japanim was on TV... I can't name them all, it's too long!!

hello!
as i told you, i'm very new in knowing japanime etc.. so everyday, i learn more and more about it, and now I can tell you that here in france, we have A LOT OF japanime, and we are A LOTE to love it...french people read more and more mangas, so the japanime is following the same way. i think it's a sort of fashion here, and it really started this year, with Naruto... (when I was younger it was Dragon Ball Cat's Eye, Sailor Moon, etc ) but kids at school are crazy about Naruto... hehehe

I'm not Japanese, but Japanese cartoons play an important role in my life. DORAEMON is the childhood hero for me...I know a lot of Japanese cartoon but I don't know how to say it in Japanese. For example, I'm now watching a cartoon about a girl who got a magical violin and became an excellent violin player and got a change to compete in her school concert. This cartoon is fabulous!!
