Hi, I'm new in this forum. The reason why i'm writing this message it is because I want to study abroad (Ireland) but i dont know what type of english course to take. I have studied english since i was 14 years old and since 3 years ago i started studying the english teaching training. By the end of december, i will have already finished my course. I was thinking to take an english course, something related to english rather to education.
But my educational system in Argentina is different to irish ones. I have seen pure grammar, language and culture (literature, history and language), phonetics, etc.
The english courses are expensive, so if i take one, i wanted to find one to be very useful.
I dont know if i could follow a postgraduate or MA. But if so, i dont know what type of postgraduate, i would be able to take.
I've been searching a lot of information in the internet. But i thought it would be idea to read the opinion of someone else who knows about the subject.
THanks
Gaby

Hi gaby,

It seems your English is advanced - do you have a TEFL score or IELTS score?

If not I would recomment a course involving one of these depending on the post-grad school you would like to attend.

Another way to choose a school is to decide which area of the langauge you would like to focus on improving. You can then pick a school which specializes in that area.

Good luck,

Corey
