I love food from Asia. Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean - so much good food.

I can cook some Chinese and Japanese food. Here is my son when he was 10 years old eating something I made.

That's Chinese sausage and snow peas, water spinach (空心菜), and good rice. So simple - but delicious.

He still uses chopsticks (筷子) in a strange way. Smile

I learned from observing a few friends, and my cousin's wife - she is Chinese.

He is a cute kid, thanks!

Dear Dixie, let me introduce my favorite dish to you!

This dish called 鱼香肉丝.hoho~~Let me introduce the making method to you:
1. Cut lean pork to filament, and put them into the bowl, then mix them with salt , starch and water.
2. Scallion, ginger and garlic also should be cut to filament.
3. Edible tree fungus and carrot also should be cut to filament.
4. Then take sugar, soy sauce, seasoned vinegar, salt, Scallion, ginger garlic, chicken essence preparations starch and water into a bowl, and concoct into 鱼香juice.
5. Put oil to pan, when the oil is fifty-percent hot, tip the lean pork into the pan, saute to sporadic . After a few minutes, put the Edible tree fungus carrot and 鱼香juice to the pat, saute in a quick rate, then you will smell fragment, the dish is over.

How complicated process! This dish is a little sweety and verjuiced, if you eat it, I think you will like it!

If you like it, please tell me ,I will introduce other dish for you!

I am fine with chopsticks. Actually I prefer tham to fork and spoon for many things.

And I'm not sure why we were using plates. I always use bowls all the time now.

Tracy: That dish looks delicious!
