hey guys!!!
i got a question-----which animal is the closest to human?????
is it the gorilla???!?!?!? need help!!!! thanx!!!

thanx!!! it is gorilla's closest relative (genetically). so i think i willdo some comparison between the gorilla 'n' chimpanzee.

Genetically it is chimpanzee.

From what I understand, biologically pigs are closer. Most of the studies in xenotransplantation (transplanting tissue and organs from animals to humans) use pigs.

For example, doctors use porcine heart valves to replace human heart valves fairly routinely nowadays.

But a biologist would be the best person to answer your question.

by the way.... well... i'm doing the gorilla reaserch.. just wanna ask u guys's opinion... if u got the chance to attend the gorilla presentation, wut would u expected to kno about the gorilla..?????

Genetically, the chimpanzee is the is closest to the human. However I do not think that it is a topic that we should think deeply about. I do not think that it really matters.

Some of my teachers have reminded me that evolution is just a theory and I actually believe that it is false.
