Hello,
My name is Mandie Rosenberg, and I am an editor at a publishing company called Peterson's.
I am working on a book for international students, and for the introduction, I am looking for short--1 to 2 paragraph--stories to print in our introduction. Your name will appear in the book, and you will receive a free copy of the book. You can e-mail you stories to me at:

Please note: not every story will be used. I will respond to each e-mail telling you whether or not your story will be used.
The subject of the story can be either:
(1) A story about adjusting to life in America
(2) Story about a language misunderstanding or misunderstanding of slang words in America.
