Hello,

I am having a hard time with means of transportation. Most of the time, I know that we must use "by" something to say how we go there, but in the case of walking we say "on foot". Therefore, I would like to know which is better or correct, in case one is wrong, in the following sentences. If I am wrong, please, tell me how to rephrase my sentences to make them right.

1) I go to school on/by Rollerblades.

2) He went to his cottage on/by skis.

3) The streets are so icy that you could go to work on/by skates.
