Hi, there!
Today I'd like to ask you about how to answer the following question:
"Do we need to learn not only English but also French?"
In my opionion, there are two ways to answer this question.
1. Yes, you do.
2. Yes, we do.
Am I right? And if so, what is the difference between these two?
I'll be happy if you give me an immediate response.
Thank you.

The first answer means you are asking the person a question, and you are referring to yourself and a third person.
The second answer means you are asking the person, and you are referring to yourself and the person who is answering.
