Hi All,
I'm looking at teaching English overseas,
particularly in Korea (a friend taught there
and loved it). I looked at the Oxford course
(offered locally in Sacramento) and the price
is steep---are the online courses out there
(e.g. http://www.teflcorp.com/ol-home.htm)
acceptable to employers?
I have a law degree and experience
as a lecturer at the undergraduate level.
I don't know if that would tip the scales toward
an online certificate being acceptable or not--but
it may be relevant info.
Thanks in advance for any helpful replies
Mike

Hi Mike,
My name is Ruth and I am from i-to-i which is an organisation promoting volunteering and travel. We offer a number of TEFL courses which are internationally recognised and if you decide to take a Paid Teaching Placement we would also find you a guaranteed salaried teaching job, arranged accommodation and airport pick-up. We run placements in South Korea which I thought would be of special interest to you.
Hope that is of some use.
