hello everybody,i am a college student of mathematic department .Maybe no one feel easy when concerns with this subject,to me,it 's not at all easy, either. But the more i 've learnt about it .the deeper i love it.someone once told me:when you set out to a journey.just stick to it.i think i will not give up easily, and i will hold on and on... _________________ contact me with icq:274725107

Yes!!!!! I agree with you. Well, it's not verey difficult, because I'm doing my PhD thesis in Mathematics, so I'm a mathlover too. I'm working in algebraic topology, and you?
See you!

hey, nice to meet you.i've post the topic for a long time but received no reply. i am just a freshman in college and i am studying some basic courses of maths this term.such as algebra and the analyse of mathematic.may be i'll take algebraic topology in the third year .is mathematics popular in your country?
nice day! _________________ contact me with icq:274725107

well, popular... I don't know... No specially popular but it's highly regarded.
I finished my degree in Mathematics in 2002 and I studied algebraic topology for 3 years during the degree.
Good luck with the analysis and enjoy with the algebra!

Hi, my name's Clare.Nice to meet you guy who are mathlover here. I am yr 11 student in Australia. and now i met a little problem that is a 4 Unit (highest level)Maths problem for yr12 student and i want to learn it by myself. I know that you guys will be much clever that I . Thank you for help.
Q:How to prove that"sum of the distance from a point of the locus to the 2 foci is constant and dtermine what the constant is(this is for ellispe " " difference from a point of the locus to the foci is constant(this is for hyperbola) "
Thank you [/b][/i]

So how do you define an ellispe? My definition of an ellispe is what you want to prove. Tell me your definition and I'll have a try.

Hello, Kerry!
I like geometry vety much!!!
Geometry was my specialization at the University.
I had been studying tangent bundles, and what have been studing you?

Oh...no.... I live in Barcelona, but... And about maths... Topology is abstract?? Noooo, you can take your surfaces, with their holes and play with them. Calculus is abstract, Complex analysis is abstrac, but topology.... is wonderful.
Ok, if you work seriously in algebraic topology, you can do some things a bit abstract, like
\emph{Proof of \ref{cr}}: Let us see that $\liminv_{\F^{cr}} \ch
_n (P) = \liminv_{\F} \ch _n (P)$. It is clear that $\liminv_{\F}
\ch _n (P) \subseteq \liminv_{\F^{cr}} \ch _n (P)$. Let us see the
other inclusion: We have to show that if we take $P,P'\leq S$ and
$\varphi \in \hom_{\F}(P,P')$, then $\chi_P
(p)=\chi_{P'}(\varphi(p))$. By Alperin's fusion theorem, we have
sequences of subgroups of $S$, $P=P_0,P_1,\ldots,P_k=P'$ and
$Q_1,Q_2,\ldots,Q_k,$, with $P_{i1},P_i \leq Q_i$, and morphisms
$\varphi_i \in \Aut_{\F}(Q_i)$ such that each $Q_i \in \F^{cr}$
and is fully normalized and we can factor $\varphi$ through the
$\varphi_i$s, where each $\varphi_i \in \Aut_{\F^{cr}}(Q_i)$
and takes $P_{i1}$ into $P_i$. We know that for each $i$,
$\varphi_i \chi_{Q_i}=\chi_{Q_i}$ and, as $P_{i1},P_i \leq
Q_i$, $\chi_{P_i}$ and $\chi_{P_{i1}}$ are nothing but
restrictions of $\chi_{Q_i}.$
but there are exceptions
And Tanya, there are many bundles in topology. The tangent one is a bit rigid .... but fiber bundles, in general, are quite useful. In fact, my thesis is about this. _________________ Para sentir no bastan cinco sentidos...

Hello everybody!
Hello oinrocinu! It's for you!
I found geodesics into tangent bundles nonRemian manifolds with curvature is constant. And I find formula for curvature if geodesics is not lightlike. I think, geometry for lightlike space is very important and very different. It requires new methods.

Does "nonRemian manifolds" mean "nonRiemannian manifolds"? If not, I don't know what is "nonRemian manifolds".
Here, in Granada (Spain) there is a quite important research group about minimal surfaces and with constant curvarture.
Where do you work? _________________ Para sentir no bastan cinco sentidos...
