Just starting to learn more about this issue...
Opinions, anyone?
I'd like to learn more about what's happening.

It seems to be that Thaksin, in selling the Shin corp., was not at his most ethical moment, but the country is definitely benefiting under him (at least the majority of the population is), and only the elite and wealthy class go for Sondhi, who was definitely suspicious-seeming of something when his debt was forgiven by Viroj (???). Am I getting any of this right?

It's tough to get the straight facts when an issue is so heated like this one is, so if anyone can help in explaining, I'd appreciate it.

Sorry for the delay FP, but here's the lowdown from the streets of Bangkok. Thaksin did a good job with many things, particularly the economy and infrastructure, but messed things up by becoming corrupt. Most Thais want him out, but aren't terribly happy about the thought of Sondhi.
