I studied English and French at university. However, I agree with Borerbore that Korean is a nice language because its intonation is attracted. And I'll try to learn this language once.
I think that every language has an its own attraction. For example, French is smooth like an naive girl. Razz

I wanna go to France.so I have to study French hard.but French is very difficult for me.

I took Latin in high school and French in college. I can speak French when in France, but unfortunately no one speaks French around here, Southern California. Spanish is much more useful here, and since I've heard it so much and since it is so similar to French, I can understand a little and speak a little.

I am taking German now, at the local community college--German 3. I'll take German conversation next semester, then German 4. Then maybe Spanish.

German grammar is tough, and some of the vocabulary is hard, but a lot of it is similar to English. Kommen = to come; tanzen = to dance; schwimmen = to swim; die Hand = the hand; der Fuss = the foot; das Wetter = the weather; warm = warm; kalt = cold. Those are easy.

But: fast = almost; bald = soon; bekommen = to get. Those are hard.

I can say about 45 things in Cantonese Chinese, and I love it as a language, but if I spent 100 years studying it, I don't think I could learn it. Zu schwer fuer mich (too hard for me).
