wow, CP! you even speak Cantonese Exclamation That really surprises me! I remember there is an English expression by which we can describe some people who can speak more than two languages, just like you. that expression is poly-lingual or multi-lingual? I don't remember exactly.

You are probably thinking of polyglot, an ugly-sounding word meaning multilingual.

I said I can say a few simple things in Cantonese, not that I can speak it. I envy people who can speak Cantonese or Mandarin, and I admire anyone who can read and write Chinese--always have.

then we are almost in the same boat(not in the same bed though, unfortunately), I envy people who can speak and write English well. how about we trade our mother tongues? maybe we can trade more than just mother tongue Razz I mean, we can still trade another kind of tongue Embarassed

hello!
i wish i could speak French Wink .. i tried to learn it 3 years a go when i joined a class for 2 months Shocked ...but i the grammer was too much for me Mad ..it harder than the English grammer....it is such a beautiful and sexy language..eaveryday i listen to the French program on the local radio in the morrning Very Happy ...and dont andurestand a bit of what they are saying!!! Chinese, German, and a bit of latin. (But only for translations)

-2 hours of the time which is in Qatar. So if you have 19:25 now, we have 21:25.

I think you got that backwards. Qatar is east of Germany, no? So it is later in Qatar.

The world time clock at www.timeanddate.com lists Qatar as one hour later than Germany. When I checked, it was 1550 in Germany, 1650 in Qatar.

Hi, I can speak spanish and english, and right now I'm learning japanese. *beep*. Watashi no namae wa Juan Diego desu. Douzo yoroshiku. LOL Embarassed I'd like to learn a lot more languages, like german, french, italian, chinese and russian!
