Iran nuclear weapon Suspicion ----- the execution of the joint statement is important

The suspicion of developing nuclear weapon by Iran is being resolved. Iran government announced on 21st that it would suspend its uranium enrichment plan and respond to the demand by IAEA to sign and ratify the additional protocol after its talks with diplomats from England,France and Germany.

Since the suspicion was discovered last Summer, some dubious facts have been brought to light, such as unregistered nuclear facilities or imported centrifugal separators which enriched uranium was detected in. It was natural that in the IAEA council last month, adopted was the resolution to call for complete disclosure of information about the suspicion with the time limit "by the end of October" and to call for early signning the additional protocol

Less than 10 days are left by the time limit of the resolution. US are pressing to discuss the sunction in the UN security council. It should be positively evaluated that Iran government responded voluntarily to the implementatin of the resolution instead of turning his back on the international society in the midst of increasing diplomatic isolation.

Certainly the additional protocol including sever rules such as surprise inspection partly intervenes the sovereignty. Nuclear nonproliferation treaty(NPT) guarantees each country a right of peace use of nuclear energy. It is related to this point that Iran had resisted to the resolution despite it has denied the suspicion. But the world security and peace is dependent on the NPT system. In order to prevent nuclearweapons spreading, it is serious obligation for member nations to accept fare and square inspection.

Iran government is still reluctant to announce the schedule to sign the protocol and the terms to suspend the nuclear enrichment plan. Till everything in the joint statement will implemented, the international society have to keep to pay attention to Iran.

Anyway,it can be said to be important diplomatic result for every country that the nuclear suspicion began to go toward the settlement in this way. Diplomatic ministers of UK,France and Germany visited Iran, declaring the diplomacy of persuasion and dialog, backed by the intensified diplomatic encircling net including US. They explained that the protocol and inspection wouldn't intervene Iran's sovereignty, dignity and security.

The joint statement stipulates that Iran will implement the duties called for by IAEA and US standing on the spirit of cooperation and harmoney, so that Iran won't lose its face. If Iran keeps doing these duties sincerely, it will find the way of gaining technical cooperation for peace use of nuclear power which it has asked.

It is the biggest issue for the leader of Iran to persuade the resistance power in the country. He should explain to the people this time that the Iran's national benefit will come from the cooperation with international society.

The thing that the world worried most was that Iran following North Korea would turn its back on the NPT system and begin risky nuclear development. But Iran chosed the way to solve the pending-problems through the diplomacy and cooperation. North Korea which has tried to isolate only has to follow this example.

It is said that under the water the talks with US was being proceeded in regard with the visit to Iran by the diplomatic ministers of UK,France,Germany. US and EU had a crack about the Iraq issue. But if they can allocate their rolls in the cooperation and harmony diplomacy with Iran, it is possible that they can do that in the Iraq issue.
