Biryani is essentially an oily dish.
But at home, you can custom cook it with less oil.
If yoghurt (or curd) is added in the right quantity and at the
right stage of the cooking, it doesn't turn out wet.

It's amazingly good with little bit oily or non-oily. Same with samosa. Baked samosas taste way better than the fried ones.

Baked samosas sound like a good proposition.
