Could you check to see if the sentences below are correct, please?

He is terribly injured and will take a lot of time to recover completely.
These books are very difficlut and will take a long time to read through. |

Yes, they're OK. I would use a lot of instead of so much; out of bed, not out of the bed; and difficult is misspelt.
