I just wonder why many people around the world (even me)
want to have famous designer goods which is so expensive.

Do you think designer goods- such as Gucci, Chanel and Dior (etc)- are worth the money or are you paying for the money?

and Do you follow fashion trends closely?

I just want to share the opinion.

I wouldn't say that I collect brand name goods, but I would say that I do consider a brand name when choosing something. For example, I prefer Benchmade knives, Reach toothbrushes, Wild Turkey bourbon, Trojan condoms, HCK gis, and Adidas for my wrestling shoes. I have found these brands to provide satisfactory performance, and good value. I think I use brand names as a short-cut when I'm shopping. I can get what I need with less effort. I know I can trust Benchmade, for example, to put together a solid piece of steel.
