Crying or Very sad Really? So if we value marriage, we should just marry as soon as possible? That's very bad...
No no no. Take your time, maybe a year or two or three, get to know the other person. Spend as much time together as your lives allow, lots of dating and courting, see how your interests and values are similar, find out what her family is like. If you are living together, it makes it all the more difficult to break it off when you realize she is not a good match because of some disgusting habits or she is too closely tied to her insane dysfuctional family. Shocked Mad

But hey, you're, what, 20? 21? You got 5 to 10 years before you are in a position to worry about that stuff. Relax and enjoy yourself for now. Cool

Is there any other kind of sexism? I don't think so.

what will you call it if you don't call it sexism?

It's ok for a man to hook up with a lot of women before getting married. but it's not ok for a woman to sleep with another guy before getting married. oh, come on! that's sexism.

Turtle, maybe you mean, sexism is all stupid? that's right.

(n) sexism - discriminatory or abusive behavior towards members of the opposite sex.

Right!

Now we have a common denominator, that's cute. Well sure I want to take my time, it's just I need some experience in this topic. And I want to chose carefully, because I don't want a second-class girlfriend.
It's like business or... fishing,
I rather wait for a big fish than fishing a lot of small fishes.

But as time is money, I can't wait till I'm 30 or so. So the option I have is to start getting experience as soon as possible, but without bad bargains. I'm 19.

Bob S is right. Good advice for someone looking for "the one."

But you are just 19. Go out, have fun, don't waste money - at 19 you should be looking for the one of many. There's plenty of time to be serious later in life.
