jokerred----> www.jokerred.co.kr
i have been in seoul for several years now, and a lot of english teachers seem to have trouble locating a good place to go for good music and good fun, i think itaewon is such a bad feeling most of the time so the next up is hongdae. most of the clubs seem to be the same but i have noticed three clubs that really stand out. matmata, hodgepodge, and jokerred. i used to go to hodge podge at first but its like a closet and the music is just radio stuff for people who know nothing about music. then i started doing matmata, but after a while i got tired of the plastic atmosphere same typical closet style size and the same old house music, these days i go to jokerred wich is harder deeper sound and you can really feel the music, it has a real comfortable feel to the place,the staff are great, they have an english teacher working as a dj and one at the door to offer english assistance. you can go wherever you like i just figured i would try and save you a little trouble.
