Hello!Everyone! I am a junior student in university. Recently I suddenly found I started to like a new career that is unrelated to my major. I started to get interested in it because I took part in some activities about it in uninersity. The problem is that I didnt learn it before.

So shall I pursue my new discovered goal or continue my first major?

Could you please give me some suggestions?

Thank you!

I guess you should pursue what interests you, specially if all your instincts are drawing you to it.

Thank you for your suggestion. I think what you said was right.
If only I could had found this dream earlier! But someone said it would be never late to pursue your dream!

If i am right, we are in the same class right? What interests you so much? No matter how irrelavent it is to your major, you can try and see. You are young enough to afford it! Many of the celebrated people are not famous for their major-related stuff. They accomplish great achievement otherwise. So, go for it. Don't let yourself regret not trying something you really want.

Yes, you are right. We are in the same class. Very Happy

As for the interest... Rolling Eyes what interests me so much is dubbing. After I tell you my interest, do you still support your advice? Do you still think it is really feasible for a student whose major is irrelavent to her dream or interst? Don't you think this interest or idea is not realistic?

Recently I do get crazy about dubbing, but i'm not sure if it is my certain and real life dream or it is just my short period interest. So now I cannot make a firm decision for my future.

You are right, you should make sure it's not a passing fancy before you start pursuing anything.
