If you play Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin backwards, it really does say "Oh sweet Satan Oh sweet Satan". I've done it! You have to have it on record though. You can do the same thing With Revoloution#9 by the Beatles off the White Album.

just to let u know there are many versions of gloomy sunday that u can listen to but the best one is by Venetian Snares and the song is entitled after the hungarian version Ongyilkos Vararnap. the female voice is actualy song by laszlo javor. the guy who does venetian snares actually went go hungry in search of this song, it is the origional copy but he added a new background song. warning it does have an odd effect on you. its not actualy the lyrics that get u its the sadness in her voice.

hey, guys, it seems to me that you all enjoy music very much and have a good understanding of it. i love music very much too and i agree with you on the power of music.
however, i myself find this piece of music, gloomy sunday, very beautiful.
i have heard of it many times before and i enjoy it very much. and i never come up with any idea of suicide. so to those who said "it's bad", i really can't agree with you.

Well....

I saw the description of the song one year ago from a stranger's blog...it's been named to "Suicide Song" which stimulated my curiosity.

"Among those included are two people who shot themselves while listening to a gypsy band playing the tune. Several others drowned themselves in the Danube while clutching the sheet music of "Gloomy Sunday". One gentleman reportedly walked out of a nightclub and blew his brains out after having requested the band to play "The Suicide Song".
One man jumped to his death from a seventh story window followed by the wailing strains of "Gloomy Sunday". He was over 80 years old! In contrast to this, a 14 year old girl drowned herself while clutching a copy of "The Suicide Song".
Perhaps the strongest of all was the case of an errand boy in Rome, who, having heard a beggar humming the tune, parked his cycle, walked over to the beggar, gave him all his money, and then sought his death in the waters beneath a nearby bridge. "

Since it's very mysterious...I downloaded this song from the Internet, but I don't think I have the original version because it was published in 1936 and had already suppressed by B.B.C and U.S.

So....I was wondering do all of the above guys have the song? Can you send me...?

I LOVE music and really want to challenge this one! LOL!
