If you were lucky enough, the love would be the very strength to help you get through the hardest times in your life; on the contrary, if you were not, it would be the heaviest burden for you to bear. As the Chinese saying goes: The water that bears the boat is the same that swallows it.
Just a passing thought of mine makes me want to post the subject in here, while I was reading an English language novel.
