Is there anywhere you can go to find a good english tutor in your area? Has anything (website or something) worked well with any of you? Thanks!

There is a recent American online school called www.english-classonline.com where you can have effective lessons with a qualified and patient teacher.
They use a virtual whiteboard to teach online, it's very interesting. Their Conversational courses start at $7 an hour but they also offer Professional courses.
You should definitely check it out!

http://jamtechpros.wordpress.com/

This site has English teachers who teach lessons for as low as $4.15 USD per hour on Skype or virtual classroom. A few of my friends use them and they say it's very good.
