Hello,

My girlfriend is anywhere from mid-intermediate to low-advanced when it comes to speaking English (but she does have that thing where she can speak it MUCH better around me, because she's comfortable with me as opposed to speaking with the rest of the world.). She is currently in Japan and wants to move to New York City. She wants to do the whole, find an employer to sponsor her visa thing, but as a simple hair stylist that is not highly likely. Worst-case scenario she would be interested in staying here as a student (thereby killing 2 birds with one stone).

Anyone have any recommendations of good ESL schools in New York City where they sponsor your visa for you? Please let me know here or via Private Message. Thanks.

New York Language Center's mission is twofold: to provide high quality, affordable English classes to international students in a supportive, friendly atmosphere where students come first, whether their goal is academic, professional or personal self improvement, and expose them to American culture. At the same time, we are committed to providing immigrant New Yorkers with ESL classes that accommodate their needs and prepare them to be part of the society where they live, work and educate their children. The curriculum at New York Language Center is designed to support this mission by providing students with the necessary language tools to help them achieve their goals. New York Language Center is committed to excellence and service at the highest degree.
