I think there are more disadvantages than advantages of residential school, because students are not under parents control this may cause the students to move to the wrong way........with wrong friends.... Rolling Eyes

I think hostels is for students who think that their house is not a proper place to study. Some parent force their children to stay in the hostel although their children don't want to. Thats why they feel depress when staying in the hostel.

Untuil now, I still can't think of any advantages. Bully?? that only will happens if there aren't enough cooperation from teachers or warden...
Also is they (the school) can't manage their student's.

i like the residential school. i am regret too late to enter the residential school because it can help us to manage our daily life personally. we can share our opinion or experience and skills with other friend. This is the way to learn from other. That has been proven is more effective than learn alone

Well, I think it depends to the individual. Some of them think they love to stay in the residential school instead of private house. But, some of them dislike it. They have their own reason. Some of them might think it is more hormony to stay together with so many friends in the residential school. But, I think those who like to stay in private house, they prefer freedom than under control with the person in charge in the school.
