Hi everyone,

I wanna ask what is the meaning of "screw it", "screw me up", "screw you"

I knew these phrases in some American TV series.

And I think it is negative...

anyway, thank you for reading my question!

hi rebellionyu,

Depending on the context, these phrases can have slightly different meanings. however, here are some basic definitions for you:

screw it = don't do something.
(Screw it, I'm not doing my homework!)

screw me up = force you to make a mistake
(it screws me up when someone talks to me while I try to do my homework.)

screw you = F%*ck you - this is not a nice thing to say to someone and will probably get you in trouble. I suggest using this only with close friends.
