In a room full of people, for example, in a cinema, is it the same to use the "line" and "row"?
Or is it "line" used to refer to the people sitting behind the other? And the "row" used to refer to the people sitting to the right/left of the other? |

Sitting in a theater is usually a "row". A line would be the people standing outside, waiting to buy a ticket. |

Thanks! I wonder if "column" can be used in the room? |

I don't think so. |
