|
|
In the following two sentences,
the first one feels sensible to me but the second sounds somewhat strange.
Is the second one also right?(I mean both grammatically and semantically)
1) The newly renovated store is expected to attract many more customers in the years to come.
2) The newly renovated store is expected to increase many more customers in the years to come.
And are the following sentences also right expressions?
3) The store owner could attract many more customers through his store renovation.
4) The newly renovated store could increase many more customers. |

2 & 4 are not correct semantically or grammatically. To make them correct then you should change them as follows
'increase many more visitors' to 'increase the number of visitors' |
