The following is my question:
It's only when we can hear a tone of voice or look into someone's eyes that we're able to know when "I'm fine" doesn't mean they're fine at all... or when "I'm in" doesn't mean they've bought in at all.
Would someone please paraphrase " "I'm in" doesn't mean they've bought in at all"?
Thanks a lot. |

"I'm in" is like "count me in" which means I will be a part of whatever you have suggested.
"Who wants to go to the movie tonight?" "I'm in!"
"to buy in" seems more like to agree to a deal of some sort. It's possible that other people would have a different opinion though. |
