we chinese student will have a 9-days Holiday!!!!

Your Labor Day week's vacation must just be something common to China because here in America, our Labor Day is the first Monday in September.
Usually, most Americans only get the single holiday off. A week off for a holiday or a vacation week is mostly limited to students and certain occupations. Many factories here close for a week between Christmas and New Year's Day. Other than that, workers apply for a week's vacation at any time of the year and receive it as it's made available to them.
