Yes, I do believe in Darwin's theory. It is interesting that Mendel's work on genetics was unknown to Darwin and Darwin's work unknown to Mendel. I think they would have had some very interesting conversations!

I always think it's funny when people supposedly "find a missing link." If Darwin's theory is true, there should be millions more missing link fossils than fossils of existing and known extinct species, and it shouldn't be big news to find one.

Who was Charles Darwin?

Most people know that Charles Darwin was the father of evolutionary biology. However, what is not widely known is what sort of a person Charles Darwin was. In an attempt to remedy this situation, this section of AboutDarwin.com will allow the reader to get to know Darwin on a very personal level.
