Thanks for all your help. My version of office 97 didn't have any IPA fonts.

I managed to download everything from

http://www.sil.org/computing/fonts/encore-ipa.html

It looks like its all there, I'll try using them with keyman sometime this week.

I'm just getting into computers and I want to write some stuff using the phonemic alphabet. Could someone out there tell me how to do this with microsoft word.
