I am a new volunteer teacher also and found this website online that is great with suggestions. Don't know if it will help you but I have taken lots of ideas from it.

I am trying to come up with a lesson which would help parents with interacting with teachers/administration at their children's school. I teach beginners so it has been dificult to come up with lessons and ideas. Anyone have any help for me with ideas or websites to point me to.
