Teaching at secondary level - motivating students
When I hear “secondary school education”, I think about students who are not always motivated. In my opinion, teachers at secondary level must be aware and conscious that they need to bring material and subjects that are close to students. Teenagers all live their lives like they were all unique, as if no one had ever experienced the same things than them. It can be difficult for a teacher (who has much more experience in life than his students) to try and understand his students and make them want to learn at the same time. When students think their teacher understands them a little, I think it can motivate them to learn. Merely the idea that the teacher “thinks about them” can simplify the job of a teacher when it comes to motivation from his students.
