Elderly with A Special Interest in American Culture

HI,

I am a teacher in New Zealand. How would you go about teaching a batch of chinese old people with keen interest in learning the American way of life?
Can you suggest any websites that have the information described above?
How can these students be motivated ? Is is possible that they can still learn a great deal from these stories?
