opening English language center in Africa

I live in Burundi and I'm working with a businessman who wants to open an EFL center. At the outset it will mainly be adults learning for general purposes. He wants to include language lab/ computer programs. I don't personally think a book is absolutely necessary, but it seems as thought the potential students would really like to have a book. Any recommendations for software and textboooks would be greatly appreciated.
