I have the pleasure of informing you about the inaugural Abu Dhabi University - IATEFL International Conference to be held in Abu Dhabi in January 2007. IATEFL is the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language and has over 3,500 members in 100 different countries. The purpose of this conference is to allow ELT managers and teachers to share their ideas, experience, research and innovations in coping with change. There will be an associated exhibition of equipment, services and supplies that are commensurate with the conference themes. Interest in the event is increasing and it has the patronage and the expected participation of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, and His Excellency Dr Haneef Hassan, the Minister of Education.
