An online picture dictionary...

Post by limeorange » Thu Aug 18, 2005 6:33 pm

I'm a private English tutor in South Korea. I created pidic.com (PIcture DICtionary) based on the fact that studying words is a tedious and difficult task. As many of you are aware, many citizens of South Korea have high-speed access to the Internet. So I thought if I add a picture to each word definition it would help vocabulary learning a lot. I'm also thinking about having flashcards available on my site but does anyone have any other suggestion? Obviously, pidic.com can be beneficial for adults as well as children. Any positive/negative comments are welcome.

Check out this site it may be something to work towards
http://esl-images.com - flashcards are good but many schools at least in Taiwan design their own maybe smaller (like playing cards) with pics and definitions would be good for people to use at home.
