create a chat room

Hello,

I would like to create a chat room for my students so that they can practise writing a dialogue using Internet Realay Chat. Can anyone help me find a website where I obtain a free web-based chat room?

I know of a website that proved great with my pupils
www.nicenet.org
it can help you create classes with so many different options

why not try it then.
