| Hi, am currently teaching at a small school in central Japan. We have been looking for a good book that has speaking activities geared for small classes and or private lessons. Most of the materials we've seen are for large classes, and our largest class has around 4 adult students, sometimes 5. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your time. There is a book called "700 classroom activities" by David Seymour & Maria Popova. I know it says classroom activities, but you could adapt it to a small class. This book has a section on conversation. Another book that I just thought of is "More grammar games" by Mario Rinvolucri & Paul Davis. This too is for 10-12 students in a class, but I am sure you could adapt it. Moreover, you could also try this website "onestopenglish.com", it has alot of lesson plans, ideas, games etc to teach English to Adults.
I hope it helps. Take care. |
