English Book for self-learning Thai???

Post by macosie » Wed Feb 09, 2005 10:39 am

Wonder if anyone can turn me on to a book or series to help out one of my Thai friends. I teach Jr. High kids in Korea, so I'm not to sure what to look for for my friend, a mid-30s Thai masseuse, who works a tonne. She would love to improve her English, but doesn't have the time or money to go to English classes, so I figured that I'd send her a book(s) that she can study inbetween clients. Her spoken English is OK, but writen is poor.
Being that Adults are not my expertise, nor nor are Thai learners, are their any books that anyone woud recommend? Also, I'd live to be able to order it/them online and if possible preview it/them too.)
Thanks

Hi Peter,
Thanks for replying, unfortunately, my friend is now travelling to work in Holland.
Good luck with the CD Rom.
Cheers,
M.
