cutting edge

I've just started teaching English to a group of pure adult beginners but I didnt like the book.Nevertheless the English course I wok in want me to use this book.Does anybody use cutting edge ? :?

i hate cutting edge! i am using the upper intermediate and advanced texts, i assume yours are beginner texts? the school director chose it for these classes because she thought the other books were "too easy" (the passages series). but i don´t think cutting edge challenges the students any more, except in that it has no organization and the lessons have no cohesion. what have been your problems with the books? anyone else have experience using cutting edge?
