can anyone recommend a particular resource that includes common pronunciation errors by native spanish speakers?
my web search came up with bits and pieces but I would love to have a longer, more illustrated list.

Check out: Swan & Smith (1987) Learner English: A Teacher's Guide to Interference and Other Problems. There's an entire chapter on Spanish speakers.
